Loteria Grill

The Whole Enchilada

Famous Mexican Food in Hollywood

None
It's late, and your Hollywood night is already legendary. Your needs right now are simple.

Enchiladas. Huevos Rancheros. Maybe one more margarita.

Welcome to Loteria Grill Hollywood, soft-opening this weekend (with a reservation) before its official Tuesday debut.

Loteria's original, miniscule Farmers Market stand next to the Grove has been turning out some killer Mole Poblano for some time—and that's from a hot, cramped, noisy stand with nowhere to sit…and no tequila. So you can imagine the culinary and leisure possibilities at this new location, where you can settle into the breezy sidewalk patio, along the left wall in the giant main room or at the spacious bar at the back. (An eye-catching reassurance that the longstanding tequila oversight has finally been addressed.)

Booze aside, the classic menu options that consistently place Loteria on all the best-of lists aren't changing much, at least not to start. But the new goal is to stay open until 3am on weekends, so they'll now be there for you from breakfast all the way through to breakfast.

Or hair of the dog to…hair of the next dog.
