This week brings advents in seersucker from Unruly Heir to outfit your summer evening and an in-home massage from Refresh Body to help you recover from...summer evenings.
Things to do for June 12, 2008
The Weekend Starts Here
The week is hot, but the weekend is just sunny.
The Tribeca mainstay and his organic spinoff spice up their seasonal sale with $60 denim, $90 jackets and a rare chance at one-off items from the designer. (We're a sucker for one-offs.)

Rag & Bone
The macho denim gurus lure us west for this midweek sale on the remains of their spring/summer '08 collection, including jeans, cardigans and khaki explorer-wear.
We aren't crazy about foodie festivals, but they're kicking things off with a cheesesteak party at LIC's Water Taxi Beach, which is enough to lure us across the river. Also, we imagine there will be films of some kind.
Pitstop's Petanque Tournament
The Brooklyn Heights bistro celebrates the season with the French lawn sport of peasants. The tourney runs all day, but petanque glory lasts forever.
The prep-rock quartet officially enters the mainstream with a UES-friendly Central Park show. Expect sub-Saharan weather and music.
If you're still looking for a place to take the old man, Strip House has Macallan scotch flights and table-carved steaks, either of which beats a Hallmark card every time.
