You’ve been eating out of other people’s automobiles a lot lately.

Rubbing elbows with late-night taco slingers. Weaving tales with the Irish over fish and chips. Making cupcake ladies swoon.

Yes, all this food trucking has kept you busy. You need a break.

Good news: you’re not getting one.

Say hello to the Wow! Food Trucka four-wheeled comic strip (we’ll explain) doling out all manner of handmade arepas, tomato pies and... donuts, soft-opening today and officially launching tomorrow at the Howell Mill Food Park.

First off, you’ll be able to pick this thing out of a lineup with little to no effort. Mostly because it was designed and painted by Greg Mike (the guy behind both the “Popstars and Cokeheads” exhibit and the ABV Gallery)—think cartoony flying arepas, a one-eyed donut holding an umbrella and veggie burgers wearing pink stilettos (naturally).

Semi-creepy personification of foodstuffs: check.

Now about those actual foodstuffs. To get to them, you’ll need to pinpoint the truck’s coordinates on Twitter or check out the schedule on their website.

From there, it’s a simple matter of showing up and ransacking your way through a fully customizable spread of handmade arepas (Venezuelan corn cakes stuffed with beef, chicken or pork), veggie burgers with red pepper goat cheese spread, panko-crusted shrimp cakes and, of course, a freshly baked cache of those cinnamon-sugar donuts.

Shrimp and donuts... things just got real.
