And that’s why your mountaintop resort in Topeka just didn’t work out.
Which brings us to One Ski Hill Place, a new palace of skiing and après-skiing at Breckenridge, taking reservations now for a November 12 grand opening.
Essentially, it’s an enormous ski-in/ski-out resort, nestled right alongside the slopes of Breckenridge. So you’ll bed down in a suite literally steps away from four different chairlifts taking you to Breck’s 2,358 acres of powder, and then come back to après-ski with a martini at the joint’s bar, The T-Bar.
But on the off chance you need a day off from slaloming, your in-house options abound. You’ll have a bowling alley (kindly remove your skis), two movie lounges and an outdoor plaza—with room for you and 299 of your favorite ski bunnies—at your disposal. (Since you asked: yes, the deck is heated.) And when the party inevitably leads to the after-party, your suite comes outfitted with a fireplace and a deck of its own.
You’ll have to provide your own heat here.
