Look Out, It’s a Flying Surfboard

Just Your Average Futuristic Wave-Shredding Machine

It’s 2019.

And you were promised jetpacks.

And high-tops that laced themselves.

As you wait for science to get its act together, allow us to at least introduce you to a flying surfboard.

It shall be known as Fliteboard, an Aussie-engineered doohickey here to help you glide on top of the ocean just like you’re flying that's now available online.

It’s technically called an eFoil. But don’t let that stop you from saying “flying surfboard.” Because that’s essentially what this is: a remote control-operated, hydrofoil-propelled board with a powerful computer that zips you across oceans, bays and lakes at 27mph while you’re stoically suspended many feet over the water. Presumably being quite stoked.

There are three different boards offered for a range of skill levels. So whether it’s your first time in the water or you dominated Pipeline last year, you’ll still be able to try one. Hell, you won’t even need any waves.

And unlike a jet ski or motorboat, this thing is quiet, emission-free and doesn't create a wake.

So nobody can follow you back to your secret island.
