A Thrilling New Advent in Sleeping

Introducing the First-Ever Temperature-Regulating Bed Sheets

When you're running hot, not even the must trusted methods of tricking yourself into falling asleep will work. You're tossing. You're turning. You're doing that thing where you roll around and everything gets all tangled up.

But just in time for summer, there emerges a potential solution. It's called My Sheets Rock, and it's a brand new company touting the first-ever temperature-regulating sheets, designed to ensure you always feel like you're as cool as the other side of pillow (sleeping joke). They're available online now (with a 90-day trial), in variously colored sets that include a fitted sheet, flat sheet and two pillowcases.

So...how exactly did someone make your sheets smart?

Well, first of all, they went out and put together a crack team of textile experts, with a combined three decades-worth of experience. Then said crack team spent years relentlessly researching and testing different fabrics from manufacturers around the world.

Finally, they found what they were looking for: the Regulator Sheets, as their product is called, are made of 100% bamboo rayon fibers. Scientifically speaking, this high-grade fabric more effectively releases trapped body heat while you sleep; thus, their sheets supposedly remain 3 to 4 degrees cooler and generate 50% less humidity than those made of cotton and polyester.

In practice, this means you'll become less sweaty on those late-spring nights when it's too cold to turn on the air conditioner but too hot to get comfortable. It also means they're better at reducing odors, aka, sleep-stink, aka, sorry-we-called-it-that.

And in case you were wondering, yes: they do feel very nice against your skin. Light and stretchy and soft. Silky, in fact.

Sleep tight.
