Today in New Places to Eat Pita Sandwiches...

Sebaba has opened a second location in FiDi, meaning your lunches can now include pita sandwiches filled with anything from falafel to ground beef kebab to their 300-minute egg, a traditional North African recipe that requires five hours of roasting. You Can’t Keep a Good Steakhouse Down

After almost 90 years in the legendary-steakhouse game, San Francisco mainstay Alfred’s is coming back on Saturday after the fire that forced them to close last year. They’ve refreshed the space and added a few new dishes like smoked trout roe and tater tots with crème fraîche. They left the steak.

What Else Is New

Joe Starkey is the tallest person in the room 90% of the time. He enjoys liquors that aren’t smoky, dive bars that are, and has a vague dread that someone, somewhere might be having more fun than him.
