This is just a cooler. Just a regular ol’ cooler that’s been outfitted with a built-in blender, a waterproof Bluetooth speaker, a bottle opener, USB outlets and a host of other insane (but also entirely necessary) features. Nothing to see here but your run-of-the-mill speaker/blender/cooler...
You may walk into the forest-like space of Animale, order something and think: “Oh, it’s just a normal fast-casual Italian situation.” But soon, you’ll see your carbonara panini, or homemade plin, or fries with bone marrow sauce, and the chef personally delivering it. And then you’ll think: “Or not.”
Tonight, you and a date will dine in an intimate, high-ceilinged West Loop establishment called Honey’s. You’ll eat marinated swordfish, fava-bean-and-English-pea falafel and a few mango-vinegar oysters. You’ll drink rye-whiskey-and-cava drinks. You’ll talk. You’ll laugh. And then you’ll just go about living your life. Cool?

Furious Spoon: The ramen shop just opened a Logan Square outpost with an outdoor patio and
late-night duck ramen.
Parlor Pizza Bar: They’re bringing eight new pizzas (including a kimchi-and-pork-belly
pie) to an industrial space plus patio in Wicker Park on Friday.
This has been fun.
Reasons not to spend Saturday at the Pilsen Food Truck Social:
—You despise snacks from the city’s best food trucks (The Fat Shallot, Boo Coo Roux...).
—You’re against hanging out in Pilsen and drinking beer.
—You’re staunchly anti-live-music.
—You’re no fun.

So there’s this giant sailing race on Lake Michigan this weekend called America’s Cup (perhaps you’ve heard of it). Not to mention, a lunch cruise/party with a nice buffet, DJs and premium views of the race. Point is: it would be silly to partake in one and not the other.
