Today, there’s the small matter of Marion we need to discuss. Actually, “small” is a misnomer. Because it’s a big, bold Mediterranean place from the guys behind Bâoli. And it’s opening tonight in Brickell.

Of course there’s a slideshow. It’s right here. And while pictures are worth a thousand words, here are a few more...

It’s taking over the massive Hoxton space. With a real mid-century-European-café vibe about it, too. Walls draped in white, cream and pale pink, French-lace curtains, vintage brass sconces and brasserie furniture made by a company that’s been outfitting Parisian restaurants since 1885. Sticklers for a theme, these guys.

Food-wise, you’re going to be busy. Lobster and oysters from the raw bar. Mediterranean fish cooked over ancient Japanese charcoal. Milk-fed lamb belly. All at the hands of a chef who’s worked at three-starred Michelin joints around the world. Which is to say, you might enjoy it.

The drinks here mean business. For that, you can thank the Bar Lab boys. Of Broken Shaker fame. You might have a passing familiarity there.

There’s an in-house bakery. So order some dessert. Those strawberry marshmallows look promising.

Because they’re marshmallows.
