Klima Control

South Beach’s New Mediterranean Stunner

So there’s another taco joint opening up in the city today.

...

Kidding. Almost had you there.

But we do have a smoldering plate of pata negra that demands your undivided attention.

Focus intently on Klima Restaurant and Bar, a tastefully appointed new Mediterranean destination starring lobster-stuffed rigatoni, wine and the sultry subtropical pergola you’ll be enjoying it in, taking reservations now for dinner tonight. (Oh, and here’s the slideshow.)

It’s a lofty residence in the former Tosca space retrofitted with slates of beige wood, natural oak floors and colorful Turkish rugs. From the long bar and candlelit lounge directly in front of you, your night begins with a few glasses of wine...

Then, dinner. There are a few ways of going about it here:

1) When making reservations, shoot for the cushioned banquette under the hanging black spot lamps. It’s got direct views to the outdoor pergola.

2) Ah, but that outdoor pergola. With cane ceiling sections that occasionally drop out and let the moon do its thing. Here you’ll fill your marble table with the fabled pata negra, tuna belly salad and lobster-stuffed rigatoni with stew.

Have you ever danced with the rigatoni in the pale moonlight?

Sorry. Bye.
