Wine, Burrata and Italian Sushi in Brickell

Hey, Italy. We just want to take a moment to say: thanks.

For your wine.

For your suits.

And for the rolls of sushi you’re about to bestow upon us...

Give a hearty “grazie” to Moye, a sunlit ode to southern Italian wonders like creamy burrata, buttery olive oil and, yes, sushi, now open as of today in Brickell. (See the slideshow here.)

This is from the guys behind Sardinia Enoteca in SoBe. See, they ventured off to Florence and Milan and brought you back a souvenir: this place.

You can find a Moye in both of those cities. And the one here bears a strong resemblance to its Italian brethren—all sleek and white, with floor-to-ceiling windows and mozzarella-shaped lamps. The Italian chef’s a nice touch, too.

Speaking of which, they’re embracing the southern Italian way of life here. Specifically, Puglia. And apparently, that includes a burrata-and-carpaccio bar. So you’ll want to bring a low-key date with an affinity for urns of olive oil and the plates of fusilli and Apulian sushi that will be streaming out of the open kitchen.

Yep, Apulian sushi. It comes with mozzarella, shrimp, tuna and tomatoes.

Japan, get moving on those cannoli.
