There’s this rumor that fruits and vegetables are good for you. We can neither confirm nor deny these claims. But we can tell you that there’s a new place in the North End with a bunch of smoothies, pressed juices and wheatgrass shots. Their proximity to cannoli may be a problem.
The Triumphant Return of Temple Bar
Note: this story will have a happy ending. Back in July, Temple Bar shut down after a fire. Over two dark months of no Temple Bar followed. But now they’re back with apple cider fondue, duck sausage pizza and a new street scene mural. That was the happy ending.
Steven Alan just turned 20. The brand, not the guy. And they’re celebrating on Newbury Street with a Shinola trunk show, gratis whiskey, food from Mei Mei Street Kitchen, 20% off store-brand gear and Steven Alan. The guy, not the brand.
A North End Pie Legend Does Somerville
Infamous North End pizza spot Ernesto’s is bringing its signature tiny slices to a new location at Assembly Row this Saturday. Sorry. Typo. By “tiny,” we meant “gigantic” slices that are a fourth of an entire pie. Won’t happen again.
