Meet Milk Street Cafe 2.0
Somehow, the Milk Street Cafe got away with not having a bakery, an espresso bar, a panini station or sushi for 33 years. We don’t know how it happened. What we do know is that they’ve finally corrected the situation. And they won’t let it happen again.
A Book Signing with a Fernet Luge
James Beard Award winner and Toro overlord Jamie Bissonnette just wrote a 500-page novel contemplating life and death in the age of... ah, no. Wait. It’s a charcuterie cookbook. Whoops. Anyway, here’s the release party, complete with passed charcuterie and a fernet ice luge. Other than that: regular book signing.
Fifty years ago, some guys named Paul, George, John and Ringo made a movie called A Hard Day’s Night. It’s good. And the Brattle’s screening it while a Lumiere chef provides classic movie snacks like candied nuts and spiced roasted peanuts. This’ll be a tough one for nut allergies.
