A Cuban Sandwich Joint in Bishop Arts

None 4 Photos C. Señor
And now, a rundown of famous Cubans:

1. Desi Arnaz
2. Yasiel Puig
3. Mark
4. Sandwiches

One of those things just popped up in Bishop Arts.

We’ll give you a hint: it’s the obvious one.

Free both hands for C. Señor, a walk-up shack serving authentic Cuban sandwiches and café con leches, now open for your mealtime enjoyment.

This place comes to us from the Hattie’s guy. So that’s good news. And sure, it doesn’t look like much. But people often say things like, “It’s what’s inside that counts.” And we’re near certain they’re usually referring to Cuban sandwiches.

So walk up to the window and peruse that small menu. For now, it’s sporting five sandwiches, a few sides and some coffee. First up, try the Cubano (mojo pork, ham, swiss and pickles). And you’ve got to sample the namesake C. Señor (short rib ropa vieja and mozzarella) with a side of yucca fries. Then... maybe rest for a minute.

And coming soon: expanded hours and more stuff to eat. Think breakfast sandwiches and Cuban tacos.

And then think: hey, I like that stuff.
