Cookies, Vinyl and Tapas, Oh My

A timeline for Black Friday at Tres Gatos:
10am: The tapas joint/record store opens seven hours early. Offers discounts on rare vinyl like Miles Davis on mono.
2pm: Bar opens. Cava breaks ensue.
10:37pm: Yep, still there. Because so is more cava and gratis vinyl-themed cookies. Oh, the vinyl-themed cookies.

Nov 29, 10am-11pm, Tres Gatos, 470 Centre St, Jamaica Plain, 617-477-9209

A Hot Chocolate Pop-Up at the Revere

What’s not happening at the Revere: Swiss Miss. What is happening at the Revere: a hot chocolate pop-up every Friday through December, manned by a rotating cast of Boston chefs bringing their own recipes like Boozy Candy Cane Cream Pie. Yes, that happens in a mug.

Fridays through Dec 27, 3-6pm, Revere Hotel, 200 Stuart St, 617-482-1800

Park Has a NSFW Brunch Cocktail Now

There are brunch cocktails you order in polite company, and brunch cocktails you order in less polite company. The Mary and a 3-Way would be the latter. It’s a bacon-infused mezcal number at Park’s newly minted brunch. Feel free to order the bacon pancakes with it. Feel free to do that.

Your Bottled-Negroni Dreams, Realized

“Negronis are fine in a glass,” you said. “No,” responded the Kirkland Tap & Trotter. And then they bottled up a batch of carbonated Negronis and poured one for you. “Great,” you said between sips. “This happens every Monday,” they replied. This is a nonfiction story, by the way.
