Savor the Date

A Klyde Warren Restaurant Walled Entirely by Glass

None 3 Photos Savor
There’s a reason people in glass houses don’t throw stones.

They might break a bottle of malbec.

Raise a toast to Savor, a sunny, completely glass-walled spot that’s bringing draft wines, shared plates and one substantial patio to Klyde Warren Park, opening tonight for dinner.

You probably noticed that big wooden box of construction happening on the edge of Klyde Warren for months. Well, this is that. But it’s much nicer now. All sleek and modern looking. With beige leather seating, light wooden tables and an LED-lit bar top. Plus floor-to-ceiling glass walls, so you can watch people do yoga while they watch you eat BBQ shrimp and grits.

For the next few weeks, it’s dinner only. So stop by for dinner only. Order one of 16 wines on tap. Or whatever else (a flat iron steak is a good use of real estate) you like putting near plates of lobster beignets and deviled eggs.

And chances are, you’ve noticed the weather is just beginning to cooperate. Which means you’ll want to explore that wraparound patio—3,100 square feet of wicker chairs and white tables that’ll soon be yours for the taking.

Or yours for brunch.
