Exclusive: a bottle of rare scotch made from seven legendary (and extinct) distilleries. And you’re getting it for a song... Also, take up to 27% off supplies for your next truffle bender, and 30% off marshmallows with booze in them. (Yep, that’s now a thing.)

Axe-Throwing in New Hampshire and Other Weekend Notes
The weekend has never been fined for grabbing.
If you haven’t waded into the waters of the Independent Film Festival this week, Friday is your last shot. For $20, you’ll catch 13 short films from New England filmmakers. And starting at 8pm, there’s an after-party at Firebrand Saints in Cambridge. Tux optional.
A really long time ago, Fluff was invented. In Somerville. And on Saturday, there’s a massive celebration of the stuff all afternoon. Think: two stages, fluff jousting, marshmallow tosses, live local bands and even a fluff lick-off. Let’s hope you don’t get paired with an ex for that one.
We’re entering peak leaf-changing season. So if you’re getting a jump on things this weekend with a basket filled with snacks and a lengthy drive through New Hampshire, you can hit the lumberjack competition in Berlin on Sunday for BBQ, competitive logrolling, chainsawing and even women’s axe-throwing. Hot.
Oysters and Beer, Together Again
Legal Sea Foods is celebrating Hemingway’s favorite shellfish by way of a five-course mollusk-and-craft-beer dinner on Tuesday. The goods: bacon-fried oyster gumbo paired with Saison Dupont Farmhouse Ale, and Kumo oysters with vanilla cream foam teamed with Left Hand Milk Stout. Drool. Chin. Wipe.
