Strip Tease

A Brickell Steakhouse with Exotic Tastes

None 4 Photos Strip
There’s someone we think you should meet.

To most, he goes by Michael.

But you’ll come to know him as “Kangaroo Filet Guy.”

Yeah, we can explain...

Meet his base of operations, Strip, a traditional steakhouse with an exotic, carnivorous underbelly, opening Monday in Brickell.

Yes, this new spot reincarnates the popular steak temple of yore—and the man behind it hails from steakhouse royalty (Manny’s, Chophouse).

It has all the makings of a sexy late-night spot: red-leather banquettes, black-lacquer bars, grass-fed cuts of porterhouse and Singapore Slings until 4am. (Optimal Sling time.)

But you could also find yourself here for a power lunch with your patent attorney (your pocket-watch flask: almost approved). That’s when you’ll slide into a booth, catch the highlights of last night’s Heat game on one of six TVs and get right to business over platefuls of bison, antelope or 14-ounce Nigerian prawn. Perhaps call over one of the red-corseted waitresses and order up a slab of Michael’s Aussie-raised kangaroo or ostrich sourced from a ranch in Pennsylvania.

We’re pretty sure it’s the state bird.
