The weekend is taking Monday with it.
It’s not every day that hands-on exhibits (in this case, a playground) and Cirque du Soleil-like performances are paired with cocktails in a museum. So take advantage tonight, when the bar starts serving at 6pm, the exhibits open up and aerialists perform. Everything’s interactive, but we’d leave the gravity-defying tricks up to the professionals.
A steak and martini at noon is something that just feels... right. And so you know, Urban Tavern’s put together a little deal that involves a starter, an entrée and a vodka or gin martini. Then, when your bill comes, it’ll discreetly leave off any incriminating martini-laden evidence. What you do at happy hour, however, is up to you.
This new sushi joint helmed by a Blowfish vet is as much cocktail lounge as it is raw fish temple. Which means that instead of your usual sashimi pairings of sake and beer, you can have the tequila-and-jalapeño-spiked Rocket Popper. In other words, you can come for sushi and stay for drinks.

You’ll be relieved to know that the guys behind Mission Street Food aren’t done with their pop-up at Lung Shan just yet. Not only are they staying, but they’re also bringing you what they’re calling “Americanized Oriental” food. Expect riffs on dishes from Taiwan, Sichuan and a little kosher Chinese. Seriously.
