Pancakes, Bikes and Beer. Sounds About Right.
Follow the bouncing weekend.
DIY Ramen from Team Jinya
You’re about to collaborate on some projects with Jinya. The kind where you design your own ramen bowls at Jinya Ramen Express, their new fast-casual Hollywood concept. You pick the broth, the noodle type and other things like buttered corn and pork. They do the rest. So as far as projects go...
Eat at Moby’s
Moby’s opening a mountain-lodge-y restaurant in Silver Lake dedicated entirely to double bacon burgers, porchetta and ribs. Just kidding, it’s an organic, fully vegan bistro serving stuff like roasted-tomato agnolotti and meatless cassoulet. But it’s still quite mountain-lodge-y.
Pancakes. Beer. Paintings. Splendid.
And lo, so it was that in November of the year 2015, a supernatural power united the people of Los Angeles for a day full of pancakes, underground artists, music and wanton drinking in Downtown. Actually, it was whoever organizes the Pancakes & Booze Art Show, but still.
Shinola Wants to Ride Bikes with You
Shinola. They don’t just want to make you glorious watches and leather footballs. No. Sometimes they’d simply like it if you came over for a leisurely bike ride around the neighborhood before coming back to the store for beers and food trucks. A new watch wouldn’t kill you, though.
Boots and a DJ and More Boots
Some damn fine Goodyear-welted, natural-leather boots. That’s what you’ll find at BED|STÜ’s brick-and-mortar opening party in Malibu on Saturday. Those, and a monogramming station, a DJ spawned by Caitlyn Jenner and a gratis juice bar. And umlauts. Plenty of umlauts.
