Bimini Boatyard Is Now This

Bimini Boatyard closed a while back. That was a sad day. It’s okay, though, because now the guys behind Yolo and S3 have turned it into a sexy boathouse with a 35-foot chandelier made of 70 spiraling oars, a sprawling patio and some “seacuterie.” Seacuterie is what you think seacuterie is.

Now open, Boatyard, 1555 SE 17th St, Fort Lauderdale, 954-525-7400

A Late-Night Happy Hour Is Born

Every Thursday, Tom on Collins is doing the reverse happy hour thing. Which means champagne and shot-and-a-beer specials, plus live music from El Rancho Deluxo, all starting at 11pm. Friday mornings will understand.

Apparently Bacon Parties Still Exist

Bacon. There isn’t much more to say. Except... there’ll be a party dedicated to the consumption of foods infused with it from places like American Social and Himmarshee Public House. So go. Drink beer. Drink bourbon. Be a person who’s at a bacon party.

Nov 6, 7-10pm, $35-$75, Esplanade Park, 400 SW 2nd St, Fort Lauderdale, 954-468-1541, ext 2015, tickets here

The Bloody Mary Opportunities: Endless

Nikki Beach is unveiling a new Bloody Mary bar at brunch this Sunday. So many combinations. So many possibilities. Like a Bloody with wasabi, sake and fish sauce. And a gazpacho version with a garlic breadstick garnish. Your heart. It’s so full now.

Sundays, 11am-4pm, Nikki Beach, 1 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, 305-538-1111
