The Weekender

A Weekend of Truffle Vodka and Frank Sinatra

The weekend is a six-point favorite.

This Is Like Sushi, but Different

If you’ve ever thought sushi could be a more substantial meal, you’re ready for shushi. That’s sushi with stuff like plantains, meat loaf and the like. You’ll learn to make shushi, and then you’ll wash it down with truffle-infused vodka. And this will happen at a rock-climbing studio. Obviously.

Sep 11, 8pm, $50, Morphe, 810 SW 22nd Ave, reserve at 786-408-4131

There’s a Second Little Bread in Town
A LOT OF DOUGH

There’s a Second Little Bread in Town

Bread + Butter is no longer Bread + Butter. It’s now the second location of Little Bread. The common denominator here is bread. So if you show up looking to carbo-load at Bread + Butter, you’ll still be okay.

Sunday
You’re Brunching Like Frank Sinatra
COME BRUNCH WITH ME

You’re Brunching Like Frank Sinatra

Fun fact: Frank Sinatra would be 100 years old this year. To celebrate, StripSteak at the Fontainebleau will be serving some of Old Blue Eyes’ favorite dishes at brunch, like wood-roasted prime rib, butter-poached lobster and a Monte Cristo with blackberry jam. Frank was very particular about his Monte Cristos.

Sundays, StripSteak, 4441 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, 877-326-7412

BALLIN’

Beer. Barbecue. Football. You.

Some people are picking the Dolphins to make the playoffs this year. Other people are closing down a block in Fort Lauderdale and throwing a huge party to kick off the season, with a DJ, barbecue, cornhole and beer from Concrete Beach and Funky Buddha. We probably like those second people better.
