Things to do for August 14, 2014
Live Bands, Burrito Delivery and Just So Much Beer
Weekend, Rinse, Repeat
70% Off at the Webster. And... Go.
Just look at the Webster. Thinking they can go ahead and take 70% off of a bunch of their stuff. Like Margiela trench coats. And pieces from Theyskens’ Theory, Band of Outsiders and Alexander Wang. Really, the gall.
Octopus-Burrito Delivery. How Nice.
You know... that My Ceviche’s opened up a spot in South Miami.
You might not know... that they’ve just launched delivery service. Octopus burritos. Ceviche bowls. The entire menu’s game.
You really don’t know... how they’re going to fit the whole thing in one bag.
This Party Has Some Secrets
The C&I Studios crew is hosting a pop-up concert series with a rotating roster of musicians. The location... that’s a secret. What’s not a secret: the gratis booze and Pop Lab popsicles they’ll be handing out there. But only the first 100 people to RSVP get to go. Right, so you’re RSVPing.
Yes, the city’s first brewery is turning one. Naturally, they’re shutting down an entire block for a celebration and stuffing it with DJs, live art, food trucks and beer. They’ll also be releasing their very first bottled brew that day. That’s two reasons to celebrate. In case you were counting.
Pubbelly + Broken Shaker = Fantastic
Something monumental is happening. Brace yourself for... Pub-Shaker. It’s a one-night-only collaboration between Pubbelly and the Broken Shaker guys. Chef Jose Mendin will be holding down the tapas front while Elad and Gabe whip up a crazy cocktail for each dish. Tickets are on sale now. You know what to do. (Hint: buy tickets.)
