Things to do for June 19, 2014
Flirting via Paper Airplane. Drones. So Many Sales.
If you hold the weekend up to your ear, you can hear the ocean.
Paper Airplanes for Making Friends
And now, a briefing on the state of a new website that lets you print out up to four different flirtatious
paper airplanes with sayings like “We’re not friends on Facebook...” and “I don’t have your
number...” on them:
Apparently a Lot of People Have Drones
This new crowdsourced website is essentially a Google Map of the world filled with geotagged aerial video footage taken by drones. Which... huh. Most of the videos look a lot like the introduction to Full House, only in different cities. And that’s probably got to count for something.
You’re Gonna Need a Bigger Garage
So a professional Indy car team called Panther Racing is selling the race car that came in second in the 2011 Indy 500. J.R. Hildebrand drove it. Pretty biggish deal. Anyway, that car’s on eBay now if you want to buy it. Just casually on eBay.
This Leisuring Device Is Quite Special
If you need a nice hammock, here’s a nice hammock. It’s the first offering from a new outdoor company called Amok Equipment. It holds an inflatable mattress, adjusts into a recliner, has a built-in mosquito net and transforms into a hovering tent with its own waterproof tarp. See. Nice hammock.
