Your Perks: 1) 20% off a USB-powered device that turns any flat surface into a touchpad mouse. (Yes, including your desk.) 2) Aerodynamic umbrellas that can withstand gale-force winds. 3) A wearable camera that uses sensors to take the perfect shot. It’s the third eye you didn’t know you wanted.

Beer, Late-Night Dancing and Your New Sunglasses
Dress for the weekend you want, not the weekend you have.
Babalú Pops Up at the Raleigh
Meet Babalú. Yes, yes, you’ve already met. But... not at the Raleigh. Which is where the eclectic little Lincoln Road shop will be hanging out for a few months. Inside, there’ll be all manner of SoBe necessities: Tom Ford glasses, Comme des Garçons gear, suntan lotion. Everything except, you know, the actual beach.
Three days. That’s all you’ve got until Wynwood Brewing locks up membership to their Vine Club. So if you enjoy things like gallon growlers, special access to limited-release beers and extended happy hours, might want to get yourself signed up. Note: you enjoy things like that.
Funky Buddha had a feeling. That maybe, just maybe, you’d be feeling some holiday party withdrawal. So they’ve decided to host a little get-together for their maple-bacon beer’s special release. And they’ve invited some food trucks to stop by with Cap’n Crunch–chicken sandwiches. Always invite the Cap’n Crunch–chicken guys.
What: An after-party.
Where: The YoungArts Campus. Also known as Bacardi Plaza. Also also known as the place where groundbreaking rum decisions were made.
Why: Open bar. A wall cast projecting live performances. Dancing. Dessert. Getting to eat cake while bringing back the macarena.
Speed Rack. It’s a competition. A competition where you’ll witness the city’s best female drink-slingers work their cocktail magic inside Avenue D while you consume several adult beverages. Sadly, there’s no contest for that last one.
