Samba Dancers, Fried-Oyster Sandwiches and a Bunch of Pool Parties
Et tu, weekend?
A SoBe Drinkery Gets a Face-Lift
Seems the Social Club at Surfcomber has spruced up their digs a bit. You know, new furniture, new chef and whatnot. What this means for you: a barrel-aged cocktail program. Also: post-work apps like conch tacos and fried-oyster sandwiches. No, those aren’t barrel-aged.
So there’s this party happening where lots of excessively attractive human beings dance half-naked around a pool for 15 hours. There’ll be live painting. Over 50 DJs spinning. Go-go dancers gyrating suggestively. You are of course welcome to join them.
Oh, It’s Just Some Sexy Samba Dancers
TSL in Wynwood is having a little fete. For Brazil. And sexy dancing. But hey, you’re invited, too. They’ll be celebrating all things Brasileiro with art, live drummers, samba dancers, capoeira dancers and specials on... hookahs. Which totally makes sense.
Pool Partying at the W. It’s On...
Hey, might want to get your passport ready. Reason being: you’re crossing the county line. Yup, the W Fort Lauderdale is kicking off its first pool party of the season with a live DJ set, Ola Feroz swimwear models and pitchers of margaritas and mojitos. You know, pool-party stuff.
Sure, you appreciate art. And supporting local artists, yeah—that’s great, too. But at the first anniversary of the Average Joe art sale, it’s not just art. No. You’ll get to show off your table-tennis backhand. Play old-school arcade games. Munch on some arepas. You love art that you can eat.
