Things to do for June 27, 2013
Clambakes, Fireworks and Swimming Ballerinas
Every dog has his weekend.
Chances are, you could use some summer gear. Perhaps a pair of Swims shoes or some Sundek trunks. Yeah, those would be nice for that pool party this weekend. And lucky for you, Babalú’s got both, plus other warm-weather wares, for up to 60% off. You can never really have enough water moccasins.
The Ritz Gets Synchronized Swimmers
Sure, the Ritz’s pool is great. You know, with the roving caipirinha cart and whatnot. But they’ve always left you hanging in the entertainment department. Well, that changes this Saturday. That’s because the synchronized swimming beauties of Aqualillies will be there to perform. Maybe hold your applause for the end.
There are two ways to spend your Tuesdays: with a pitcher of beer punch and a plate brimming with buttery Maine lobster, clams, kielbasa sausage and taters, or... not. The better option goes down at the Federal’s Tuesday clambakes. Oh, and hey—pack a bib.
Lunchtime Queso and Micheladas. Nice.
Those prolific Pubbelly guys. First, a sandwich shop in Macchialina. And now, a lunchtime taqueria. At PB Steak. Which means that soon you’ll have to make room in your afternoon agenda for bulgogi tacos, queso fundido and a couple rounds of micheladas. There’s always room for queso.
Here Comes a Whole Lot of Burgers
There’s something nice about gathering with friends on the Fourth for a barbecue. There’s something even nicer about letting Mister Collins do all the work. So go. Watch some fireworks. Fill up on the all-you-can-eat burgers and oysters. Partake in endless craft beer. God bless America.
