Free-Flowing Bubbly, $7 Pizza and Blown Minds
The weekend is record-breaking.
In a tiny nook of the Brentwood Country Mart, London magazine/tastemaker Monocle has set up (infinitesimal) shop. It's 100 square feet of Orlebar Brown swimming shorts, Swedish bikes and Japanese CDs—just like your closet.
Saturday night's the rock-fueled party for new exhibit Bright Lights, Big City: New York in the '70s. Expect a night heavy on live music, a donation-friendly bar and Allan Tannenbaum's rare photos of Lennon, Nicholson and Marley—all with impressive, flowing '70s manes.

Between video screenings and DJ sets, your favorite mind-blowing director will be there to talk shop—and he's bringing some buddies. He's not saying who, but you've got some ideas…
