The Best Tables to Watch March Madness

March Madness starts tomorrow. So your to-do list, in order of priority, is as follows:

1) Fill out your bracket(s).
2) Conduct a scientific survey to figure out which tables in town are the best for watching the games.
3) Skip #2 because we’ve already done that for you.

Table #85 at Yard House
FOR BRACKETING OVER 130 DRAFT BEERS

Table #85 at Yard House

You require: A good after-work spot with no less than 130 beers on tap and no more than 20 flat-screens (all right, you’ll allow some wiggle room there).
You’ll receive: A roomy booth for six that’s in clear view of the bar. Also, it’s in clear view of a TV. Which helps.

Table T4 at Highland Cigar Co.
FOR EASY ACCESS TO HAND-ROLLED CIGARS

Table T4 at Highland Cigar Co.

You require: A place to watch the tournament the way you watch most semi-high-risk things: in the dark, sitting on leather and smoking a cigar.
You’ll receive: A circular high-top with tall, leather-backed chairs facing two flat-screens. Also, rare Dutch and Costa Rican cigars. One for each hand, presumably.

Table #244 at Del Frisco’s Grille
FOR ALFRESCO GAMING OVER PRIME RIB

Table #244 at Del Frisco’s Grille

You require: Somewhere you can mix business (for example, a dinner meeting) with pleasure (for example, catching the Elite Eight from a Peachtree-adjacent patio).
You’ll receive: A table near a heater on the top of the double-decker patio. Feel free to use your outside voice.

Table #30 at the Family Dog
FOR NIGHT GAMES THAT CALL FOR WHISKEY

Table #30 at the Family Dog

You require: Bar food. Formidable cocktails. The games on a 122-inch HD projection screen and/or a few strategically positioned flat-screens.
You’ll receive: A corner table under one of those flat-screens. Bonus: the kitchen window where your hot dog sliders are coming from is directly to your left. Maybe still wait for your server, though.

Any Seat at the Georgia Dome
FOR FORGETTING CBS EVER EXISTED

Any Seat at the Georgia Dome

You require: Somewhere to finish out the 63-game-long tournament. The last four are in Atlanta. So...
You’ll receive: A view of the game that doesn’t involve a screen. And nachos. You’ll also probably receive some nachos.
