First, Champagne. Then, Movies.
FLICK HOUSE

First, Champagne. Then, Movies.

There’s an ocean-themed independent film fest going on this weekend. Which... okay. Great. Should be a decent time. Tonight, though. Tonight is why you really care. Because that’s when they’ll be kicking the whole thing off with an opening soiree at the aquarium. Oysters. Champagne. It’s all there. Yay, movies.

Mac and Cheese Car Hops: Now Real
CAR’D FOR LIFE

Mac and Cheese Car Hops: Now Real

Black-truffle mac and cheese. Niman Ranch–chorizo mac and cheese. These things are about to be delivered directly to your car window in the parking lot of Homeroom. Just download their iPhone or Android app, place an order and pull up. They’ll bring it right out to you. Walking into places: overrated.

TREBLE CHEF

Tonight, Chef Hubert Keller DJs

Perhaps you’ve been to Fleur de Lys. And perhaps you had a wonderful and remarkably French time while you were there. But chances are, chef Hubert Keller didn’t bust out his DJ equipment and start throwing a mashup clinic. Damn shame. Oh, but he’s guest DJing tonight at the Starlight Room. So...

Mar 7, 8:30pm, $10, Starlight Room, 450 Powell St (at Sutter), 21st Fl, 415-395-8595

Thomas Keller Has a Box Lunch for You
WHAT’S IN THE BOX

Thomas Keller Has a Box Lunch for You

Should you find yourself near Yountville this weekend (and you should), swing by Thomas Keller’s Ad Hoc. Partly because you just should. But mostly because he just started slinging box lunches again (buttermilk fried chicken, BBQ...) from his fair-weather pop-up called Addendum. We trust you’ve got the wine part covered.

Thu-Sat, 11am-2pm, $16.50, Addendum at Ad Hoc, 6476 Washington St, Yountville, 707-944-2487

Wednesday
Bi-Rite Clones Itself on Divisadero
THE RITE STUFF

Bi-Rite Clones Itself on Divisadero

Ah, Bi-Rite. If Norman Rockwell had a Grocery Store Period, it would have been his pièce de résistance. Great little spot. Anyway, there’s a new one opening on Divis next week. They’re adding a cut-to-order cheese counter and an ice cream shop, too. It’s like they knew you loved those things.
