Things to do for April 12, 2012
Wine School, Yosemite and Bowling for Brunch
The weekend is batting a thousand.
Adding some culture to happy hour wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing. But not too much. Enter tonight’s block party, when nearly every bar and restaurant from Madrone Art Bar to Mini Bar is offering happy-hour deals (like the Little Chihuahua’s $3 beers and tacos) along with local art. Brunch and Bowling, Together at Last
By now, you’re well acquainted with this bowling alley/cocktail bar/restaurant, so you might not need another excuse to drop in. But we’ve got one for you anyway: brunch. Expect chicken and waffles, french toast and a Hawaiian-inspired loco moco burger. And you almost forgot about the bowling...
Wine School at Saison
There’s something terribly, terribly wrong with going to school on Saturday. But we’ve discovered the sole exception: when it’s a wine immersion program led by Saison’s sommelier. The inaugural class will drill down on sparkling wines and champagne. Here’s hoping for homework.
