Elvis. The man’s a legend. So it only makes sense that a group of pinup girls decided to get together and form a tribute band in his honor. And it only makes more sense that they’re called the Pelvis Breastlies. Their next performance is tomorrow night... and you support this. So does Elvis.
Things to do for November 04, 2010
Pinup Girls, Olivia Wilde and Venison
The weekend voted for itself.
It’s been a while since you won your last mustache contest. And turns out, the High is having a mustache party tomorrow night (yes, it’s in the Dalí exhibit) with a fake/real ’stache contest, beer and wine, live music, plenty of food and DJ Heart Disease spinning all night. DJ Triple Bypass had a prior engagement.
This Saturday, Ryan Reynolds and Olivia Wilde request the honor of your presence at Turner Field for an open casting call. Yes, you’re needed as an extra for the filming of The Change-Up. And yes, the only time you’re okay with extra status is when the words Olivia and Wilde are involved.
We’ve got another road trip for you. Only this time, you and your date will be joined by every restaurant in the city. Well, 60 of them, anyway. Head to the Inn at Serenbe for endless food, wine and microbrew samples from the likes of Holeman & Finch, Miller Union and Muss & Turner’s. Might want to get a room.
It’s getting colder. Winter will be here soon. And for some reason, you have the inexplicable urge to grow a beard and eat venison, rabbit and duck egg custard while consuming overwhelming amounts of beer. 5 Seasons Prado has heard you, and next Monday night they have five courses of game and beer to assist.
