Most hotels have a concierge adept at taking care of your basic needs.

But what about when you require an emergency bow tie? Or the perfect lullaby music? Or a highly relaxing bubble bath?

Together with Emirates, we’ve come up with a list of highly specific hotel services for those very reasons (and a few more).

It would behoove you to read on...

The Service: In-room mixology at The Surrey hotel in New York.
For When: You prefer to have a vanilla Old Fashioned or basil lime gimlet prepared for you in the comfort of your own room.

The Service: Emergency bow tie service at QT Museum Wellington. (Essentially, they’ll stash some bowties in your room in case you need one of those.)
For When: You find yourself, A) In New Zealand, and B) Deciding to crash a black tie wedding, but forgot to pack said black tie.

The Service: A personal butler at Roswewood Mayakoba at Playa del Carmen, who will happily draw you a bubble bath.
For When: You need a bubble bath so badly you can't even be bothered to draw yourself a bubble bath.

The Service: The on-staff Tweet concierge at Sol House Bali Legian, to whom you can request things via Twitter.
For When: You feel the need to advertise your extravagant room service order.

The Service: The sleep concierge at The Benjamin in New York.
For When: You need a curated pillow menu, on-demand meditation and a lullaby music library just to get some damn rest.
