Thirty inches of snow might happen. That’s lobster pot pie weather right there. And hey, here’s one of
those. It’s a classic from the Pearl menu. They haven’t made it for years, but they’re doing it now
through next week. So... check that one off your rare-pot-pies list.

Don’t try to tell us you couldn’t use a new Italian wool suit. And don’t give us any of that stuff
about not wanting a cashmere overcoat. Because here those things are, stunning, and for a hell of a lot less
than normal. So just save your objections.

SKETCHES OF SPAIN
Hey, It’s a New Spanish Tapas Brunch
Big news on the brunch front: Barraca’s doing it now. They’ve got Spanish deviled-egg flights, Spanish
chocolate flatbreads and Spanish meatballs from a grandmother’s old recipe. Believe it or not, it’s a
Spanish place. Which means you’re free to take a three-hour nap between plates.

FORGET IT, JAKE
It’s Chinese New Year. Let’s Dance.
Somewhere in all those timeless pearls of wisdom, Confucius said something about how there should be a
pop-up dance party/art installation at a Chinatown dim sum place to celebrate the Chinese New Year. And so
the party gods of Dark Disco are throwing one. It’s just basic tradition-respecting.
You’re pretty familiar with the rooftop pool at the Gansevoort Park Avenue. You’re familiar with its
90-degree, indoor/outdoor perfection. And the other types of perfection that tend to congregate around it.
And now, it’s open for dips on Tuesday nights. Henceforth known as rooftop pool night.
Perk Alert: Speaking of the Gansevoort Park Avenue pool, you can enjoy a private swim there
(and more) thanks to UD Perks.
