Fresh Air
Your First Look Inside Cecconi’s
Alfresco.
We’re pretty sure it’s French for “awesome.”
So allow us to present your next slice of it:
Cecconi’s, a
completely
alfresco Italian love nest, officially open as of today in the Soho Beach House.
To get to this airy little stunner, you’ll first want to make your way to the old Sovereign Hotel, which
is now the swanky new Miami outpost of the Soho House. Tell them you’re here to dine (you don’t have to
be a member), and someone will walk you through the lobby, past the glass doors and into a courtyard.
That’s where you’ll find a space that looks like an Italian secret garden: think olive trees strung with
Christmas lights, mason jar lanterns hanging from wooden beams, a retractable roof just in case it rains...
and no walls to speak of.
You’ll probably want to start with the tuna tartare prepared tableside, then move on to
feistier dishes like
Risotto Wild Mushroom,
Maine Lobster Spaghetti and
Veal Ossobuco, all prepped by the former Casa Tua chef.
And because it’s also open for lunch, you’ll want to keep this in mind as a spot to meet with clients
over thin-crust pizzas, dry-aged steaks and glasses of Barolo.
No deal can withstand the Italian secret hideaway effect.
