First rule of fight club: don’t talk about fight club.

First rule of Dallas Supper Club: please, no fighting at the dinner table.

Well, it’s an unwritten rule.

But the point is: this friendly operation is hosting pop-ups around town wherein you’ll eat good food courtesy of good chefs, and it’s taking sign-ups right now.

You’re probably familiar with the whole pop-up format. But just in case: you sign up, you get emails about upcoming events, you reserve your spot and then you show up at the dedicated time and place. Because that’s how it works, and that’s where they keep the food.

The first event is August 30 with chef Misti Norris (Small Brewpub) at Expo House. It sold out in a hurry. So to ensure your place at the next one, look out for an email on August 31 with details on round two. Then sign up for round two.

You can expect small gatherings—usually just 14 to 30 people—and multicourse feasts from different chefs in rotating locations. So come hungry. And because such things are always improved by beer and/or wine, there will be beer and/or wine.

Fingers crossed for “and.”
