Put your hands on your knees, take a breath and grab some water.

You can stop chasing around your favorite food trucks now.

Because we found them hiding between a couple auto garages in Richardson.

Mosey, if you’re the moseying type, on over to Richardson Food Truck Park, the just-opened hangout for some of our city’s finest food trucks. Go there for lunch, dinner and drinks—oh yeah, there’s a bar. (Here’s the slideshow.)

If your instincts tell you to swing by for extended lunch breaks, after-work tacos, pre–Alamo Drafthouse snacks and regular vitamin D/cold beer pick-me-ups, then yes. Good instincts. That’s how you’ve made it this far.

It really is sandwiched between a couple of auto shops. But once on the premises, you’ll find a sort of casual oasis vibe. There’s a gravel lot populated with picnic tables, colorful chairs and a bar that’s pouring local beers, simple cocktails and wines on tap.

Also, food trucks. Can’t forget those. They’ll have a rotating selection each day (Ssahm, Cousins Maine Lobster, others), so you’ll have plenty to choose from.

Plenty is just about the right amount.
