We’re going to use a couple of words today that might seem a little troubling.

A little... dicey. A little questionab... okay, whatever, the two words are “beer bus.”

But look. It’s a nice, pretty fun-looking beer bus.

And it’ll take you on a Brew Cruz, a three-hour progressive tour of local breweries, beer gardens, pubs and pour houses. It’s now taking reservations. (See the slideshow here.)

Meet Annie. You’ll like Annie. Annie realized she’d never seen an ’89 school bus refitted to look more cabin than bus, with Douglas fir benches, a captain’s chair, a gold armchair and some critical cup holders. Good thinking, Annie.

She’s also your driver, and she’ll pick you and a few friends up at your hotel or wherever in Santa Cruz you’re starting your day. Your destinations: three beer-obsessed Santa Cruz spots you’ll have worked out with her beforehand. It’s all pretty customizable, and a pint at each place is included in your tour price. So you can just sit back and let Annie and beer do all the work.

Oh, and the bus is BYOB.

So it wasn’t weird to call out the cup holders earlier.
