Traveling the World in a Hot-Air Balloon

None We’re about to introduce you to someone.

But before we do, there are a few things you should probably know:

1) He’s kind of insane.
2) He’s willing to take you anywhere in the world...
3) ... in a hot-air balloon.
4) And then let you skydive out of it.

Meet Stieger, the perfectly named stunt pilot behind the not-so-perfectly named Up, Up and Away, a fully customizable hot-air balloon expedition (yes, this means he’ll take you to Antwerp if you want) that may or may not involve a parachute, taking reservations now.

It’s choose-your-own-adventure hot-air ballooning, plain and simple. Think about it. It’s just you, a guy who jumps out of big balloons for a living and... the entire planet.

The beauty here is that it’s all up to you. Where you go, what you do... all of it. After you pick a destination (Swiss Alps; New Zealand; Cedar Rapids, Iowa...), just shoot Stieger your itinerary requests, and he’ll get to work on the logistics.

Then, when the time comes, you’ll meet him at the agreed-upon launch site. Once in the air, Stiegs (you should definitely call him Stiegs) will teach you the ins and outs of piloting a balloon and make pit stops wherever you want.

And if you feel like strapping on a parachute and free-falling into those pit stops, no one’s going to stop you.

Although they probably should.
