The Greatest Bike You Ever Built

Your sprints could be sprintier. Your times in the Alps could be shaved a bit. Your victory run through the Champs-Élysées could be just a smidge more victorious.

If only you had more control.

Enter Bastion, an Australian operation that allows you to customize your new bicycle to a ridiculous degree.

There are a whole lot of things we can tell you about carbon fiber frames and titanium components and 3D printing and torsional stiffness levels, but... we’re not going to.

What’s important is that you’re going to visit the site and click “Design.” Then you’re going to be confronted with a dizzying array of options with which to create what will probably be a one-of-a-kind bike on this crazy planet we call home. You’ll be very picky about your seat tube angle, crank length, flex level and other things like that. Plus, you’re going to want some kind of supercool custom text, obviously.

Once you’ve programmed your masterpiece, they’ll take care of the whole 3D-modeling aspect for you, since AutoCAD knowledge is a bit much to expect from you. So you’ll be able to visualize your grand beauty. In roughly four weeks, this bike will arrive at your doorstep.

And your paper route will never be the same.
