It’s a Workspace, but It’s Also a Bar

There’s a new outdoor workspace in town. Well, “workspace.” See, it’s got a full-on cocktail bar with bourbon and gin and other things workspaces don’t usually have. It’s also got daybeds and “skill-building” classes, one of which involves learning to pick locks. None of this makes any sense, but you’ll allow it.

Thursday
Just a Casual Thursday Hermit Crab Race

Just a Casual Thursday Hermit Crab Race

Bad news: the Kentucky Derby is 46 days away. Good news: the Krabtucky Derby is tomorrow. It’s also a race, but with... hermit crabs. And you can watch the most exciting 20 minutes in sports at Cafeina, with $5 beers and $2 sliders and ribs. It’s mostly about the hermit crab racing, though.

Private Cabana Dinner Parties at the Biltmore
CABANA REPUBLIC

Private Cabana Dinner Parties at the Biltmore

The Biltmore’s opening up their poolside cabanas at night for private dinners. So that’s huge. You’ll grab a date, devise a four-course menu with the chef and maybe book some live entertainment while you’re at it. And then you’ll go on a date-related lecture tour.

Available now, starts at $200/person, The Biltmore, 1200 Anastasia Ave, Coral Gables, 305-445-8066, ext 2373

First, You Brunch. Then, You Hunt Eggs.
RESTLESS EGG SYNDROME

First, You Brunch. Then, You Hunt Eggs.

On Easter Sunday, it behooves you to find your way to 15th & Vine, where they’ll ply you with lamb shank, short ribs and bubbly. And then let you hunt down eggs filled with various things, up to and including Toms sunglasses. Which somehow fit inside of eggs.
