These Burgers Have Italian Accents

Spartina’s chef is now making you lunch on Melrose. His menu includes panini with fried oysters and porchetta, clam and lamb sausage pizzas, and three different burgers. There’s one for Northern Italy, one for Southern Italy and one called the American burger. The last one sounds pretty exotic.

Grilled Cheeses Paired with Beers. Yes.
CHEESY DOES IT

Grilled Cheeses Paired with Beers. Yes.

Your urgent questions about marrying the right beer with the right grilled cheese will all get answered at Vintage Enoteca. They’re pairing three sandwiches, like camembert with apples sauteed in thyme butter, to three ales, like a Colorado saison. And you can come. That part’s important.

Mar 17, 5-11pm, $30, Vintage Enoteca, 7554 W Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, 323-512-5278

PLATFORM AND FUNCTION

Get Blue Bottle While It’s Hot. Or Cold.

Blue Bottle just planted its flag firmly in Culver City’s Platform. So you can head over now and get yourself a cappuccino. Or if cold brew is more your thing, they’re launching the brand’s new bottled coffee in Echo Park on Saturday morning. Either way, you will be caffeinated.

Skinny Dipping Should Be a Given Here

Local sex club Snctm is throwing its first pool party on Saturday. They’re promising an abundance of sunbathing, fresh juice, alcohol and 100 attractive people wearing very little in the way of clothing (when there is clothing). It’ll be nice to let someone else organize these for a change.

MAGNUM FORCE

Nothing but Big Bottles

Esters Wine Shop is popping some very large bottles of red, white, rosé and bubbly this Sunday. They’re doing that so you can try various wines that only come in magnum format before splurging on whole bottles in the future. It’s really all about bettering you as a drinker of things.
