Stacks of Wine Bottles in a WeHo Library
It’s been a while since you’ve been to the library. Turns out, a lot’s changed.
Books: yeah, those are gone.
These days, you fork over your library card and you take out a bunch of sangiovese...
Use your inside voice for V Wine Room
, a quaint cove of deep thinking and wine drinking amid
towering bookshelves that surround a regal olive tree, opening tonight.
So yes, this is a wine bar. But they take the library theme pretty seriously here—it actually used to be a
library. WeHo’s first, long ago. But priorities change. And now... wine.
You’ll find it’s an intimate little spot, with a marble bar, a couple of brown leather booths, one big
olive tree, and lots and lots of bookshelves
Before you can get started, you’ll be given a library card. You’ll use it to keep track of the wines you
check out. Yes, they’ll store your card on file so you can remember the name of that roussanne you’re
about to drink. And yes, they might use it to email you some recommendations.
But for now, don’t worry about all that. Just settle in and order some charcuterie
, some rosemary bread and the perfect wine to go with both.
Maybe something from the nonfiction section.
