It’s been a long month. But you’ve got one more Oktoberfest in you. At Redwood, they’re closing down the entire block to make way for 15 breweries, street food like brats and pretzels, and live music all day. And probably plenty of lederhosen.
DIY projects aren’t your idea of a good time on Sunday morning. Unless they involve all the champagne and juice you care to mix. So it is at Ping Pong Dim Sum, where $25 now gets you unlimited brunch dim sum and an extra $15 gets you a bottomless tableside mimosa bar. In other words, low impact.
So banh mi are trendy right now. Which is okay, because they’re also stuffed with all manner of deliciousness. Like at this new quick-serve downtown spot, which matches its own proprietary bread with stuff like garlic-lemongrass chicken, pork meatballs and brisket. Remember, you were ahead of the curve.
Monday night. Sure, you could rest up for the coming week. Or you could take in a pinup-era performance on Sax’s second-floor stage, while dipping into a three-course, prix fixe dinner. You’ll rest on Tuesday. Or when you’re dead.
