Ma Belle
Your First Look at Michel Richard’s New Date Spot

When your favorite tailor moved back to Bangkok, you sent your pants to him. When your golf coach went to Florida for the winter, you followed. So when one of your favorite chefs expands his empire, you’ll go to the ends of the earth for his cooking.

Or at least to Tysons Corner.

Introducing Michel, expected to debut next week in the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner to add some of Michel Richard’s French flair to the normally stodgy Tysons dining scene.

You might remember this place from when it was called Maestro, but you might not recognize it. After turning right at the Ritz’s lobby, you’ll walk into something that looks a little like where Ari Gold would make a deal in London—plum colors, stainless steel, giant domed LEDs in the ceiling that constantly change colors.

Hang a left and you’ll find yourself at a small white bar by the window, where you’ll await Escargot Spring Rolls with Basil Pesto or perhaps some Duck à l’Orange.

But let’s say you’ve got some tech moguls, senators and reality TV stars in tow (again), and they all want to celebrate your birthday. For that, we direct you to the dark far corner, where you’ll find a secluded, 12-seat chef’s table—a long slab of onyx lit from within and suspended from the ceiling by cables.

It also doubles as a swing set.
