Where You Bin

The Return of Your Go-To Wine Date Spot

The election may be over, but you still wonder:

Are you better off than you were four years ago? Or even four months ago?

The answer: yes.

Because after shuttering its Marina City location in December, Bin 36 is making a triumphant return starting tonight in the West Loop. (Have a slideshow and a menu.)

It’s now in the old Province space, so when the weather breaks, you’ll have a nice patio on which to drink a flight of rosé as if you don’t have a care in the world.

But it’s also your new place to come in after work, sit at the bar and summon a dozen oysters and some sangria, which you can watch being made in a strange laboratory contraption behind the bar.

Ultimately, though, this is still Bin 36. It’s still a can’t-miss date spot. You can still peruse 52 wines by the glass. Split a bottle of champagne. Dig into a pork chop. Order a salad that’s been foraged by a guy on his hands and knees in Lowell, Indiana.

And yes, you can still grab a bottle of wine to take home with you.

So the better kind of foraging.
