Your Perks: 1) Flowers grown from a volcano in South America. Good story, great Mother’s Day gift. 2) An engraved bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue. Say it with scotch. 3) Some boxing gloves... signed by Pacquiao and Mayweather. We know you know those two.
Oysters. ’Gansett. Pig roast. DJ. We were going somewhere with this... oh, right. There’s a one-year anniversary party at La Brasa, and all of those things will be there. You, too, presumably. The pig doesn’t have a choice.
If you aren’t getting enough fruit: A new juice truck is out distributing
carrot-orange-melon-ginger juice. And Apple Jax kale chips while they’re at it.
If you aren’t getting enough pinball/vegetables: A 24-hour Clover has arrived in Central
Square, and it’s got pinball machines. Anything to get you to eat your vegetables.
Here’s the part where we say: “Sault’s having a sidewalk sale with up to 80% off the likes of Jack Spade bags, New England Shirt Company shirts and Todd Snyder x Champion sweatshirts.” And this is the part where you cancel your Saturday plans.

—Grilled pimento cheese sandwiches: check.
—Prizes for Best-Dressed and Best Hat: check.
—Tearful recitation of “My Old Kentucky Home”: you’re in charge of checking that one off.
Backbar is about to screen ’80s classic Spaceballs the way it was meant to be screened. Aka paired with four different Bols Genever–centric cocktails including a number called I See Your Schwartz Is as Big as Mine. They’ve gone to plaid.
