What if we told you that you’d be hosting your holiday party this year inside of a giant cylinder with dry-erase walls, a castle full of antique cars or any of these other fine halls fit for holiday decking? You can answer later.

THE GARDEN

The Greenhouse at Alden & Harlow

You Require: Something intimate with plenty of natural light, plant life and chicken-fried rabbit.
You’ll Receive: This former optometrist’s office turned dining room, complete with glass ceilings and walls made out of hanging plant life. Plant life: 1. Optometry: 0.

THE AUDITORIUM

The Honeycomb at Café ArtScience

You Require: A proper toasting venue with TED Talk–level amenities and someone to make you pork belly.
You’ll Receive: This enclosed cylinder in the dining room. On the inside: an all-white space with eraser board walls, director’s chairs and a presenting stage. BYO “Applause” sign.

THE PRIVATE CLUB

The Board of Trade Room at Bostonia

You Require: An entire floor to yourself. Plus whoever else is coming.
You’ll Receive: The uppermost level of an old-timey oyster stronghold. There will be lounge seating, a private bar, a dedicated bartender and bourbon-glazed sweet potato donuts. That last item feels crucial.

THE INTIMATE FEASTING PARLOR

The Dining Room at Bastille Kitchen

You Require: The Downton Abbey dinner party to end all Downton Abbey dinner parties.
You’ll Receive: An enclosed room with three long tables, velvet chairs and the mantelpiece you knew was coming. Just add three-course dinner with french onion soup and beef Wellington.

THE CASTLE FULL OF ANTIQUE CARS

The Larz Anderson Carriage House

You Require: Shutting down a museum just to say you did. Any antique cars a plus.
You’ll Receive: A 126-year-old castle-looking carriage house turned automotive museum where revelers are free to frolic among pre-WWI luxury cars and definitely not drive them.
