A New Asian Diner in Emory Point

Here’s the breakdown of Emory Point’s new Asian spot.
Pedigree: The owners have a couple longstanding OTP spots called Thai Spice.
Vibe: Fast-casual. You’re breezing through here for lunch.
Menu: Gyoza of the fried pork dumpling variety. Yakisoba of the sweet and savory ramen variety. Sushi of the delicious variety.

Saturday
Racing Against a Rabbit. For Beer.
RACE IN THE HOLE

Racing Against a Rabbit. For Beer.

Your reward for running Red Hare’s upcoming race: pride. Your other, better reward: a beer garden with live music in it. Also, you’ll get to partake in a special cask tasting of a breakfast beer if you finish before the runner in the rabbit mask. Weirdest run incentive ever.

BBQ. Bike Swap. Beer. Clothes.

BBQ. Bike Swap. Beer. Clothes.

Chrome Yellow’s on the move again. This weekend, you’ll find them at the Spindle with wares from Deus Ex Machina’s new fall line (think twill shirts and cotton jackets). And on Sunday you’ll also find a barbecue, cold beer and a bike swap. Remember: trade up.

Your Midday Sunday Plans: Below

We were going to elaborately explain what’s happening at Saltyard on Sunday, and then we thought... talking points.

  • Giant jenga and cornhole.
  • A New England seafood boil and clambake.
  • Blues band.
  • $3 SweetWater drafts.
See. Works just as well.

KING OF FIRE

An Atlanta Streets Alive After-Party

You should go to Atlanta Streets Alive this Sunday. It’ll make more sense when you show up at King of Pop’s after-party at the Masquerade that way. It’s summer-themed, so expect beach balls, a dunk tank, drag queens, DJs and sausage dogs. Apparently summer was random.
