Tan Do
A New Den of Seduction in Buckhead

You’ve got your go-to spots.

Coffee at Highland Bakery. Power lunches at Bones. Power cougar hunting at Johnny’s.

But when it comes to the never-ending quest for that perfect date spot, a little experimentation can pay dividends.

Especially when it happens to involve centuries of spiritual and sexual enlightenment...

Introducing Tantra, your new ace in the hole for refined seduction by way of saffron chocolate truffles and aphrodisiac cocktails, soft-opening Sunday night in Buckhead.

If Hugh Hefner’s smoking jacket got in touch with its spiritual side and decided to become a restaurant, it would probably look a lot like this place—row after row of red suede banquettes, dramatic chandeliers presiding over beaded curtains and ancient tantric symbols discreetly embedded around every corner.

You and your date will want to stop off at the bar first (yes, there’s a Buddha statue involved) for some Tempura Mushroom Arancini and one of nine champagne-based cocktails like the Gabriella (champagne, Campari, vodka).

And when you’re finally ready to segue into the latter half of the evening, do so at a quiet table in the back, where you’ll channel your collective... energies over Pomegranate Braised Beef Short Ribs and Grilled Ostrich Pan Filets.

We should also tell you that the liquor license may not be on the wall by Sunday, but once it is, you’ll be able to cap things off with one of six Tantric Espressos like the Italian Amante, a shot of espresso graciously finished with another shot of sambuca and topped with alcohol-infused whipped cream.

Somehow you knew whipped cream would be involved.
